Vida Milenaria camp in action

Today is May 7, 2010.

Fernando and me are getting ready for an overnight patrol on the area of  Riachuelos. We will be camping there tonite hoping to save some turtle eggs. Riachuelos area is the longest patrol area with 37 Km of pristine beaches. So far the camp has saved 196 nestsw, aprrox 20,000 eggs incubating.

I have had car trouble in Poza Rica, so it has been difficult to get here and start writing about this fascinating area and the camp, but once here , we forget about averything and get to work. Laz
